The Un-ROute

The Mongol Rally follows the philosophy of Un-route, where every participant is given nothing else but a rally starting point and an ending point. Participants decide their own route, fix their own cars, and are completely on their own, come what may.

Although there are no specific routes to do this rally, there are certain popular routes, and we're following the southern route through Central Asia (and on a ferry across the Caspian Sea) that has suited prior ralliers well.
